With fall sports in full swing, it is very important to have a set playlist to get hype before a game, meet, or match. Whether or not you like rap and hip-hop, these are some songs I recommend listening to get pumped up.
The first song I recommend adding to your game day playlist is “All of the Lights” by Kanye West. I think this song is perfect to play on the bus before arriving at the venue because lots of people know the lyrics and the upbeat tone of the song can get everyone’s blood pumping. There are also a lot of other songs by Kanye West to add to the playlist like “Run This Town” and “POWER.”
The second group of songs I recommend is anything by Drake. Drake has lots of hype songs that are perfect to get you pumped up such as “Nice For What,” “Jimmy Cooks,” and “Started From The Bottom.” I could go on and on with songs to add, by Drake, but those are my top three
Other songs to add are more specifically for the bus ride there to keep everyone’s energy levels high and potentially cause people to bust out a few moves. Some fun, energetic songs to add include “Hotel Room Service” by Pitbull, “Turn My Swag on” and “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” by Soulja Boy, “Teach Me How to Dougie” by Cali Swag District, and “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce ft. Jay-Z. All of these songs should make your bus ride so much more fun.
Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion without fault have some of the best pump-up songs. “Money,” “Girls in the Hood,” and “Starships” are all perfect to keep you hyped up and ready for a high-energy game.
Please note, that one thing I did not pay attention to was if the songs were explicit or not. If you don’t like explicit songs, please don’t play my suggested playlist below.
