Sartell High School’s Jack Michaud is the first student featured in my journalistic career this year; he is a senior this year and deserves to be celebrated.
Jack Michaud has been at the Sartell St. Stephen school district his whole life. He is on the Sartell High School boys’ soccer team and the boys’ tennis team where he has played varsity since 8th grade. Jack has quite an impressive record playing singles in tennis. Last year, he went 21-6. Although he lost in section finals, he is ranked 15th in the state. His favorite memory is last year when he won section quarterfinals and advanced to section finals in a 3-and-a-half-hour-long game.
Other than playing soccer and tennis, when Jack has free time, he enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and spending time with his friends and family. Jack’s family consists of two sisters, Marley and Stella, his mom and dad, Patrick and Dawn, and their dog, Dusty.
When asked who is the most influential in his life, he responded, “I would have to say my parents, because they shaped me into who I am today.”
Jack isn’t certain what his future holds, but he plans to study finance in college. He is still looking at colleges and has also received a few offers to further his tennis career.
