As our senior year is coming to a close, the LeSabre wants to highlight as many students from the 2024 graduating class as possible. Today’s senior is Tanner Neuman.

Tanner started his school career at All Saints Academy for his pre-school, and kindergarten years. He then attended grade school at Sartell’s Oak Ridge Elementary. Tanner has spent most of his high school years in class at Sartell, however this year, he was able to attend an automotive class at Apollo High School. Tanner is most looking forward to his graduation. Afterwards, he will be leaving to attend a six month automotive program at a school in Georgia. Tanner plans to go to Lanier Tech College for a degree in motorsports technology. He hopes that this degree will plant him in the right direction to opening up his own auto performance shop. Currently, Tanner is employed as a lube technician at the Quick Lube in St. Cloud.

In his free time, Tanner can usually be found in the garage working on his 2000 Audi S4 with a 2.7L V6 TwinTurbo engine. So far, Tanner has put in a new turbo-back exhaust setup, as well as a new stage 3 clutch and coil overs. If the S4 is running, then Tanner is at the gym most evenings after work. His favorite muscle group to work is arms, and more specifically, he loves dumbbell bench press.

In preparation for this article, I spoke with some of Tanner’s friends and family to find out what they appreciate most about him. A common theme with the answers given about Tanner is his humor, kindness, and demeanor that he truly cares.

I appreciate a lot of things about Tanner, but most importantly is his true love for his family and friends. He’s a good person to the soul and would do anything for those he cares about. I appreciate his sense of humor too; since he was young, he’s been making us laugh.”
