Making a spring playlist is an absolute necessity to having a good spring and to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

As the snow starts to melt, the grass gets greener, flowers start to bloom, and the air becomes warmer you can almost feel people getting into a happier mood. As the seasons change, I believe that your mood also changes with it. Along with your mood changing I feel that it is important to change your playlist to fit your new state of mind.

I always start to formulate my ideas for my spring playlist once I start to crave warm weather and wish for winter to go away, so in honor of it being the beginning of March, I felt it was appropriate to list some of my favorite songs that remind me of spring.

#1 Linger by The Cranberries

“Linger” by The Cranberries is a classic feel good song. I love this song because it reminds me of my mom driving me home from school with the windows down and this song blasting.

#2 Yes I’m Changing by Tame Impala

“Yes I’m Changing” by Tame Impala is one of my favorites because it gives the feeling of growing up and moving onto new things. I feel like this song fits the spring season because of the school year coming to an end and a new summer beginning.

#3 About You by The 1975

The song About You by The 1975 always reminds me of the feeling you get when you can finally wear a T-shirt and shorts outside without being cold. This song always gives off a warm vibe and I believe that is why I love it so much.

#4 For Emma by Bon Iver

For Emma by Bon Iver always makes me smile because of how much I love it. The trumpets in the background really give a nice cheerful touch to this song.

#5 Ragged Wood by Fleet Foxes

The song Ragged Wood by the Fleet Foxes is one of my classics because it has so much nostalgia with me. This song reminds me of spring because my dad and I would listen to this song when we would go to the park when I was younger.

#6 Fine Line by Harry Styles

Fine Line by Harry Styles is one of my favorites. I love this song because it reminds me of watching the sunset.

#7 Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac

Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac is such a classic to me. The beginning instrumental immediately reminds me of spring and it puts me in a good mood.

#8 Telescope by Cage The Elephant

Telescope by Cage The Elephant is all around a feel good song for me. One of my favorite bands is Cage The Elephant and in particular this song is one of my top picks, especially for spring.

#9 Time to Pretend by MGMT

The song Time to Pretend by MGMT is a newer song that has been added to my playlist. I love this song, and I can already see my friends and I driving around while it plays.

#10 Evergreen by Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners

Evergreen by Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners is a great short and sweet song. When I first heard this song on TikTok I quickly realized that this would be a favorite mine. I wish the song was longer, but I also appreciate the simplicity it has.

Of course these songs being some of my personal favorites was the reason why they made this list, but I hope that this gives some inspiration to your upcoming playlists!
