Will Mathiasen was born on March 2nd of 2006 at the St. Cloud hospital. Will has been in the Sartell school district since 2nd grade and has played a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track, and baseball. Will played running back and linebacker in football, he is a center in basketball, and is a thrower in track and field who also made a one time appearance in the 100 meter dash. Will has worked at Partners Pub for 8 years, he is a line cook and his favorite food to cook is pizza.

Will has a wide variety of hobbies outside of school such as video games, hanging out with friends, gambling, golf, and frisbee golf. One of Will’s favorite things to do is to get together with friends and play board games. Will lives a very active lifestyle being a three sport athlete, and that continues into summer. In the summer will enjoys spending time at the quarries, or at the lake with friends and family, jet-skiing and tubing.

Will’s favorite teacher is english teacher Mrs. Benson, because she is a very kind, understanding, and fun. I had the chance to ask Mrs. Benson what she likes about will and this is what she said…

“I think Will Mathiasen is a pretty great kid because he’s always in class, when he’s in class he has a great smile, and he’s willing to engage with everything thats going on, and he just has a positive aura about him. He’s fun to have around, why wouldn’t you want Will around.”
