Sabre Construction: a quick overview

Sabre+Construction%3A+a+quick+overview

At Sartell High School, many classes allow students to get job experiences for after high school.

Sabre Con is one of these classes that would help students interested in construction. The prerequisites for this class are Construction 1 and 2 which gives students an understanding of how to use tools and build safely and efficiently.

Students Seth Crast, Trever Schmidt, and Hunter Leen are in Sabre Con 3, which is the third year of Sabre Con in Sartell.

When the aforementioned students were asked how they feel about the class, they were ecstatic to talk about it. Currently, they are working on the interior of the house while the temperatures are reaching extreme lows.

Seth and Hunter both said they are working on drywall inside the house while it is too cold to work outside. Trever is working on drywall as well, but he is working on putting on the ceiling why the other two are putting it on the walls of the house.

I do enjoy this class, it is lots of fun and I don’t want it to end.

— Trever Schmidt

I’ve been working on drywall and even if its boring I find the class to be lots of fun.

— Hunter Leen

I do enjoy the class. It’s lots of fun and it’s better than just sitting in a boring class. Mr. Schulte is a great teacher, and he really knows everything about the class.

— Seth Crast

Many find that Sabre Con is a great class for those who want to get into the construction field. To find out more, you can email Mr. Schulte or talk to your SA teacher when registration happens in a few weeks.
