A recent Sartell graduate David Binsfeld (’23) is breaking records at his new home at Augustana in Sioux Falls, SD.
He was a graduate of the class of 2023. He holds the diving records here at Sartell for school 6 and 11 dives. He also has the pool 6 dive record at Sartell. He wasn’t just a diver, but he was also the kicker for the football team his senior year for multiple games. He was also the cross country captain, and he ran for multiple years.
David graduated and is now attending Augustana University. He is diving there this year and is already gaining some records. He has the 1-meter and 3-meter records for the team. He is a biology major with a minor in business administration. His plan after college is to attend dental school.
Augustana is a pretty young school as sports go so throughout this first season I have set all records from 1m to 3m and the 6 and 11 dives. I hope to make it to nationals this year. I am so close, and I think it is attainable.
