For students who need a place to get out and explore, Quarry park & Nature Preserve is a great place to visit!
Quarry Park is in Waite Park, the address is 1802 Co Rd 137, Waite Park, MN 56387.
The park is about 683 acres of trails, beaches, history spots, and even fishing and scuba diving. There are 20 quarries within the park, these include swimming beaches, fishing holes, and even designated scuba diving ones!
My family and I visited last weekend, and had the time of our lives! It was definitely a fun experience for the family and super good bonding time to be in nature without technology. It was a super nice day to hike, the weather was almost perfect! While walking through the woods there was so much to see, leaves changing colors and so much wildlife.
