The 5th annual Hoopin in Heaven Tommy B night at SHS is set to take place on Friday, December 20th this year. The girls’ basketball team will play at 5:30 and the boys’ at 7:30. Both teams will face off with Willmar in a game that is bigger than basketball.

Everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear either the Hoopin in Heaven Tommy B shirt or other TB Foundation apparel. Apparel will be for sale at the game and includes t-shirts, hats, pullovers, and more.

Also this year the Timberwolves Dunk Team will be in attendance to perform between the girls’ and boys’ game. Crunch, the Timberwolves mascot, will also be there taking pictures and handing out shirts. Sartell youth basketball teams will be playing at halftime of games along with a raffle for four free basketballs and many other items.

The Tom Bearson Foundation has provided funding for student scholarships and youth basketball programs. One of their goals is to increase interest and participation for basketball players of all ages and help create more opportunities to play the game.
