Halfway into the 2026 season, the Sartell boys’ tennis team thus far has had a thrilling time with a stellar winning record. It is without a doubt that the school has a great team on their hands, and it’s truly something to be cherished.
I personally have also had a great experience so far as a first year player joining in as a senior. So, while I am confined to being a JV warrior for the rest of my short high school tennis career, I’ve also made myself busy in other ways as I’ve taken up the role of team photographer.
On or off the court, there’s always moments of value to be captured.
Tennis is a physical sport, like almost every sport ever. However, while you are getting physical with your racket, your two legs and arms, and your opponents, it’s also important to be physical with your teammates. Almost everyone on the team practices the good courtesy of staying in touch with their partners between every point, win or lose. Recommended by the coaches and praised by the players, performing a simple high five or racket touch is a great way to keep up good morale and keep your head in the game while promoting positive interaction with your team.
