Sam Barber’s new album ‘Broken View’ is worth a listen

1. “Borrowed Time” 9/10

This is the first song on the album, and it has a rough, almost edgy sound. The song talks about how it feels like your life may be running away and you are living on borrowed time. This song is a very good start to the album.

2. “Far Past” 7/10

In this song, Sam Barber talks about memories and things that you can’t change. This song is good but nothing special compared to some other songs.

3. “Just A Kid” 9/10

This song is one of my favorites on the album because of the emotion in every lyric. I think that this song is about feeling lost and scared in life like a kid.

4. “Hate It Here” 8/10

This song talks about being unhappy where you are in life. I think that has many different meanings because it can mean being unhappy in a place, relationship, or just life choices. This is another very good song with a lot of emotion in the lyrics.

5. “Broken View” 10/10

This song shares a name with the album, and it is one of my favorites. This song talks about your perspective changing after after something negative happens.

6. “All For You” 7/10

This song talks about putting all your effort into a person and not receiving what you deserve in return. This song is very forgettable and is nothing special.

7. “Satellite” 9/10

I really love this song, and I think this one of the more underrated songs on the album. It think this song is talking about a relationship that feels really distant. I highly recommend giving this song a listen.

8. “The More I Hope” 8/10

The instrumentals on this song sound very different then a lot of the other tracks, and I really like it. This song just talks about how it seems like the more you care the more you get hurt.

9. “Hopeless Son” 10/10

This is my favorite song on the album because of all the emotion he puts into this song. This song talks about feeling like your letting people down and the pressure you put on yourself.

10. “Lighthouse” 8/10

This is another very good song, and it has a bit of a different sound then most of the other songs. In this song, a lighthouse represents something that is stable and steady during chaos.

11. “Run” 10/10

This song is one of my favorite songs on this album. This song talks about wanting to escape your problems without having to face them head on. I never hear anyone talk about this song, but I think it may be the best on the album.

12. “I Will Follow” 7/10

This song is not my favorite because it seems very simple. In this song, Sam Barber sings about not wanting to leave someone’s side and be loyal. I think this song is good but not as good as other songs on this album.

13. “Hope It Never Rains” 9/10

This is the last song on the album, and it is a very good song to end with. This song’s meaning is not wanting good moments to come to an end and being sad because he knows it will come to an end.
