Sartell alumni, Brita Klaverkamp, was part of the graduating class of 2024. After graduation from Sartell High School, she started college at the University of Minnesota. Brita is currently in her sophomore year of college and is majoring in interior design with a desire to pursue further into the field after graduation.
About Brita
Family:
Brita has two siblings, Luci, who is 18 years old and Cora, who is 12. Her parents are Steve and Leigh. The Klaverkamp family loves to play games together, watch sports, and relax in their family’s pool. One of Brita’s things to do with her family is go on trips together, which have created lots of favorite memories.
Life at the U:
Brita enjoys the life she has created at the University of Minnesota, and experiencing college life. She enjoys living in a bigger city, and it has allowed her to meet new people and experience many new opportunities. Her classes keep her busy, and she spends a lot of time working on projects, and assignments. In her free time she likes spending time with her friends around the Twin Cities.
Future Plans:
As Brita continues college at the University of Minnesota, she is focused on gaining skills and experiences in interior design. As part of her career preparation she has started an Instagram page to share design ideas and expand her interior design portfolio. This allows her to showcase the projects she has worked on so far. In the future, Brita hopes to work full time as an interior designer, preferably in the Twin Cities area. She hopes her education and many experiences will help give her a strong foundation for a successful career in her work plans.
