Schmidty’s Soda Shop has just opened their second location in St.Cloud, Minnesota! As their first opening location is in Alexandria, Minnesota. The founder and owner of Schmidy’s is Jessica Schmidt. In June of 2025, they opened their first location in Alexandria, Minnesota. Her goal was to open up a soda shop to provide a fun non-coffee drink alternative. They named their soda shop after their last name. They are located in the Crossroads Center mall just down from Target and next to Brow Studio 7.
Their store hours are:
Monday-Saturday: 10am-8m
Sunday: 11am-6m
The soda shop has so many options on the menu you can choose from. You can build your own drinks, or you can choose from one of the signature menu items. There are plenty of different soda bases you can add to your custom drinks, those include cream syrups, fruit purees, boba, and many more options. The price of their drinks range from $6 – $8, depending if you add the extra add on options for just $0.75. If you did not want caffeine or did not want any fizz to your drink, they have lemonade and some sodas that do not have any caffeine in them.

The Schmidty: Coke, coconut syrup, and cream.
The Coast: Sprite, blue raspberry, cotton candy, cream, and blueberry boba.
G-Paw: Rootbeer, marshmallow fluff, coconut, vanilla, and cream.
As we walked in, we were welcomed by the workers and they took our orders. We both got a drink with the Dr.Pepper base.
Rylee got a Dr.Pepper with coconut, and vanilla syrup, and cream added.
Addie got a Dr.Pepper with toasted coconut, vanilla, marshmallow fluff, and cream added.
We both were very impressed with this soda shop. We think it is a nice add to the Crossroads Center and it may bring more people to the mall. If you have not tried Schmidty’s yet, we think you should go and give it a try!
