Alani is a popular health and wellness brand targeted towards fitness followers. Alani is most known for its low-calorie, no-sugar energy drinks, along with its protein bars and supplements. With over 20 different flavors, this February, Alani is welcoming a new limited edition flavor, Lime Slush, to their collection, where I will be reviewing, along with other contributors’ opinions.

I took a trip to our local Walmart in Sartell, Minnesota, to search for the new refreshing flavor. Luckily, I found an enormous bundle set in the middle of the store for advertising, listed at $2.57 a can. Looking at the loads of Alani, the first thing that caught my eye was the gorgeous, vibrant color, beaming with glory. Admiring the packaging, I predicted the drink to have a fruity flavor of sweet, tart, and citrusy from viewing the lime decoration. As soon as I laid my hands on the dreamy drink, I quickly purchased the can to review the next morning. I personally recommend keeping your energy drinks at a cool temperature in the fridge to satisfy your thirst even further.

The next morning, before I arrived at school, I delightfully grabbed the chilling Lime Slush flavor and cracked it open with high hopes. My first sip, I was in awe. Right away, a lingering flavor of green apple Skittles took over my mouth (which, in my opinion, is the best Skittle flavor). It was also very sweet, which I thoroughly enjoyed as a sweet tooth, but the tart citrus flavor may not appeal to others. I could not stop drinking the new Alani; it was definitely my new favorite flavor! It was the perfect way to start a motivational work day at school with a little kick of caffeine that has a great taste.
Since I may be biased as an Alani fan, I brought in other examiners to taste and express their opinions on the new limited edition lime slush energy drink.
Collecting the beliefs from my peers, I could conclude that the Lime Slush flavor was a success and will be a big hit in stores. This was a job well done by Alani, and I can’t wait to go back for more.
