During week seven of the NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings played the Philadelphia Eagles at U.S Bank Stadium on October 19th.
The Minnesota Vikings offense was led by starting quarterback Carson Wentz who played an awful game. Wentz completed 26/42 passing attempts for 313 yards and two interceptions. Nine of these catches were made by wide receiver Jordan Addison who caught 9 passes for 128 yards.
Vikings’ running back Jordan Mason ran for 57 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. He made many big runs when they were needed and was able to get the Vikings a first down when they needed one.
Isaiah Rodgers let up 3 touchdowns and 7 completions for over 150 yards. This was one of the worst defensive games I have ever seen in my life.
While the Vikings’ defense was getting torn up, leading the Eagles offense was starting quarterback Jalen Hurts who tore up the Vikings’ defense completing 19/23 passes for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns. These completions were mainly to wide receiver AJ Brown who caught 4 balls for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns and another 9 of the passes were caught by Devonta Smith who went for 183 yards and a touchdown.
The Vikings Play this Thursday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
