On Tuesday September 23, police responded to a call at around 11:30 pm, on 1000 Block St. Germain Street East.

When police arrived there was a woman with multiple stab wounds, the woman was identified as Falus Ali, the age of 24. First responders tried providing medical attention before she had to be taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where she eventually passed away.

Saleebaan Mohamed Abdirisaaq, 26, of St. Cloud, was on sight when officers arrived. He was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail. According to the SCPD, the two individuals knew eachother.

Of St. Cloud’s four official homicides in 2025, as of Sept. 24, two victims were stabbed, one was shot and the other person was poisoned.
