Throughout life, Gia has developed a strong love for sports. She is a two sport athlete. Gia plays tennis in the fall and hockey in the winter. This past year Gia and her hockey team went to the state championship, and ended in second place. This was not the outcome the team had hoped for, but they will forever cherish the memories they made. Gia enjoys the bus rides for tennis matches, and her favorite memory is all the games she played with her friends on the way home from Detroit Lakes. Gia won her first singles match against Rocori, and this is something she is very proud of.

Gia’s grandma is the head volunteer coordinator at Good Shepherd Community center. Gia helps volunteer at the community center when she is available. Gia’s grandpa works at Coca-Cola and is a truck loader. Gia has a brother named Dominic, and he is 20 years old. Together they have fun car rides, and thrilling family functions. Her whole family attends her hockey games to support her.
