Senior year activities are what make up a senior year, at least to me. I am about to tell you about all of the fun and exciting activities, even some you may have never even thought of before, so they can be a part of your senior year too!
Sports Events~
Whether it may be football, hockey, dance, or many other school sports. You should 100% attend as many events as you can. Our sports teams show really great teamwork in my opinion and are very cool to watch in person. I can almost guarantee that when you look back on your high school years, you will be so glad that you participated in events. Watch out for those themes, never forget to show up to support our school’s teams, and pack those stands! Go Sabres!

Senior Sunrise~
Even though the senior sunrise has already happened for the 2026 seniors, that doesn’t mean you upcoming seniors can’t attend! It might not sound all that fun with having to wake up super early especially if you don’t get a sunrise like us. But that doesn’t mean it’s not fun, just sitting and socializing with friends was enough for me!

Dances~
Please, please, please, go to as many school dances as you can, I promise you will not regret it. Everything leading up to the dances, specifically prom is one of my most favorite parts. From making corsages and boutonnieres to getting ready with friends and taking pictures at Munsinger, I can confidently say that you will have a blast. My absolute favorite part of prom is going dress shopping, even if you are planning to purchase a dress online, I would highly recommend going with your mom, sister, or friends to try on dresses for fun. Capturing moments like these for your future is one of the best things you can do, so don’t forget to take pictures and have fun!

Scrapbooking~
To be honest, I had no idea that this was even a thing that seniors do until the start of this year. My friends and I have already started our scrapbooks. If I were to give some tips on what to add and how to start it, I would say to put things in order of when they happen and stay on top of events to slowly get it done over the year. This is a super fun idea and a great thing to have to look back on in later years to see how much you’ve grown and changed.

Senior jeans~
Just like senior scrapbooking, I just found out this was a thing, but I am very excited to start painting on my jeans. From what I have seen and heard, you paint your graduation year on the legs of the jeans, usually using our school’s colors, and make them unique to you. I don’t have a lot to say about this activity because I haven’t started mine yet, but I would definitely check out Hobby Lobby for all the supplies you will need.

Senior pics~
I know many of us seniors have already gotten our pics taken, so this is again for the upcoming seniors. I feel like senior pictures are a known thing that people have done for many years and are a classic. If I were to offer tips on taking these pictures, I would just have to say be yourself and don’t be afraid to wear some fun colors!
