The Sartell High School DECA club is reaching for new heights for the 2025-2026 season as we try to grow our chapter.
Oftentimes, when people hear about DECA at Sartell High School, they are confused and don’t know what the club entails. In Deca, students develop business and professional skills by participating in role-playing scenarios and presenting business plans at district, state, and international competitions.
Sophomore Mielle Marshall is currently the president of DECA. She joined last year. She has some good advice for anyone thinking about joining the club: “Talk to someone in DECA, especially an officer. DECA can look complicated and intense from the outside, but it really is simple and super fun. If you are into marketing, business, accounting, or entrepreneurship, I would highly recommend you join. You’ll see real-world connections to the things you are passionate about.”
If you’re interested, talk to Mr.Stillman or one of the officers. They would love to have you come along for the first “Mock” competition. The 2025 Minnesota DECA Fall Leadership Conference will be held October 26-27, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
