As I reach my last few days of High School, I sit here baffled. It is always said that, oh time flies take advantage, and yeah they were right. I never thought I’d say I am sad to leave high school. I think I am just more sad that I won’t be able to see my friends everyday. So I have decided to reminisce on all the memories to try and feel better. So let’s take a trip down memory lane!
It is no joke that the beginning of the school year is the most fun. My beginning of senior year was packed with enjoyment and activities. Starting with senior sunrise on the first day of school. This is was the first thing that made me realize, wow I graduate in months. Following senior sunrise homecoming week came fast. Homecoming week was filled with dress up days, powderpuff, football game, and dance. Out of all of those the football game was definitely my favorite. Along side with that, making the senior jeans was quite fun. But this first month was just the beginning of the shortest year of my life. 🏈 🎉
Halloween is another weekend I will remember my senior year. Going out with my friends, seeing other students, along with dressing up in funny costumes is right up my alley. I can’t wait to decide what I should 👻be for Halloween next year.🎃
As I got ready with my friends I was so happy to get to dancing and just have a good night. Now don’t get me wrong I definitely did that, however, guys need to learn to take their shoes off or at least be socially aware. Post winter formal my feet were bruised for days from being stepped on. Correction, stomped. I made Chloe Eibensteiner carry me out of the dance because it even hurt walking. Formal was just the beginning to a very fun filled winter break. I spent most of my free time hanging out with my friends.
As a freshman, you constantly think about where you will go to on your senior trip and who with. Many of my friends never thought this was the group we would land on, but I couldn’t wish for anything different. We attended Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa. This resort is more of a relaxing resort, so we created our own fun. As well as this resort connects to 2 others that are along the beach. I couldn’t have wished for a better time with my best friends and all of their mothers! We not only enjoyed the resort but we traveled out and went snorkeling. We saw turtles, Barracuda, tons of fish, huge starfish, and even little jelly fish they stung you. After our snorkeling, we anchored down in a stingray passing area, where we got to touch tons of sting rays. We also went swimming with dolphins which was a blast and visited Señor Frogs one night! Overall a very fun experience and a great senior trip! 🌸☀️🪼
I enjoyed my senior prom the most out of all my high school dances. This day with my girls created loving memories that I will never forget!
The last major memory I will have in high school is graduation. I imagine that when I do walk across that stage I will be filled with excitement, but deep down I know I will miss seeing my friends everyday. Truly take in every moment because it does go by fast. However I am ready to graduate and move on.
