Ant Pile: “Ant Pile” is a coming-of-age song that has an Indie beat that will make you want to drive around with friends in the summer. Dominic Fike wrote the song in the way that is a story and shows how life progresses. It is about relationships with friends and family and the stages of life. This is by far my favorite song on the sunburn album.
Mona Lisa: “Mona Lisa” is a R&B and Hip-Hop genre. The song was made for the movie Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse but later on removed. It is a love song that discusses the theme of love and attraction. I really like this song because of the beat!
Frisky: “Frisky” has an older style of autotune but the lyrics and beat are newer. The song gives a feeling of wanting to be on the beach. “Frisky” is more of a short song which is unique to his album because the rest of the songs are longer.
Think fast: This song features Weezer and has over 38 million streams. It has a calmer beat that increases over time. It shows a message of carrying yourself in the world and how relationships can change over time.
Mama’s Boy: This is a very repetitive and catchy song. The song is unique because of the very high tone beat. “Mama’s Boy” has the most streams from album Sunburn. I do really like this song, but it is very catchy which can get annoying if stuck in your head.
