Coachella went into action this past weekend, There were many memorable moments, some more exciting than the others.
Coachella this year was a success with some disasters sprinkled in; the traffic jams were the worst part. People were sitting in 7-hour traffic just to get into the festival. The wristband scanners stopped working, which caused a big line to get into the place. The temperatures over the weekend were striking 100 degrees at one point. This was especially bad when everyone was wearing pants and jackets. These are the highs and lows of this year’s Coachella:
Gaga’s performance was one of the best Coachella has seen in years. She opened up with her song “Bloody Mary,” which she had not played since 2018. Throughout the performance, there were many iconic songs that she had not sung live in many years. She sang songs from the movie A Star is Born and her newest hit, “Abracadabra.” This left everyone on their feet, but there were some complaints about the lack of energy coming from the audience. Gaga’s song choices and incredible visuals will leave this performance as one of the best Coachella headliners of all time.
D4VD is known for whipping out the backflips in his performances, this one did not go as planned.
Benson Boone took his Queen-loving to the next level. He performed Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” alongside Brian May, the guitarist for the band Queen. This was a great moment for everyone to see, although there were not that many people who acknowledged who was really up on that stage.
Coachella is a known experience for the higher class individuals and celebrities. Some would start to complain about the lack of food and service they got at the festival. There were complaints that “lower class” people were taking over the place. There were also some rough outfits of the week. Any guy who is wearing jeans and a t-shirt really needs to step it up.
Bernie Sanders made a special appearance at Coachella. He came out to introduce singer Clairo and speak on his views on the current occupants of the White House.
Normally, there is a lot of talk about everyone’s outfits and who is headlining before the event. Many people felt like Coachella jumped into this year. Normally, there are creators receiving PR for different things to wear to Coachella, or celebrities getting people excited for their looks, there was not much of that this year. People want to be shown all the fun things that happen leading up to it, and it was not portrayed this year.
