Over Sartell High School’s spring break, around 40 SHS seniors had the trip of a lifetime at The Moon Palace Cancun in Cancun, Mexico. The trip had 3 resorts within the Moon Palace: The Sunrise, The Nizuc, and The Grand.
The Sartell seniors spent their days in the sun and enjoyed hanging out with each other. Sartell High School senior Lily Warnert shares her favorite moment from her spring break:

I spent my five days on the resort having a routine. First, I would wake up and have some breakfast. I would either enjoy breakfast at one of the many buffets, or I would order some room service to my hotel room.
The array of options for breakfast were all delicious; it seemed like there was an option for everyone!

Once my breakfast had settled, I put on my swimsuit and headed down to the pool. The resort had many pools throughout the three resorts. so there were many places to swim, relax, or have some fun.
My friends and I spent all afternoon sitting around the pool. We enjoyed the pizza or burgers for lunch and drank lots of tasty tropical drinks. My favorite thing to do at the pool was attend the fun pool parties. The resort would play fun music and would hand out balloons.

After getting some good tan lines, I then got ready for dinner with my friends. We would typically attend the buffet to eat many different foods. Whether it was pizza, a pasta bar, or a taco bar, everything at the buffet was delicious.
Heading back from dinner, my friends and I would get ready to hang out at night. The guys and girls would listen to music. Specifically, the groups favorite song to listen to over the trip was “Pepas” by Farruko.
Overall, the trip is Moon Palace Cancun was definitely a hit. The service, food, entertainment, and fun was a 10/10. I will never forget this vacation, and it truly was a trip of a lifetime.
