Recently, the public has sparked many concerns about the possible Medicaid cuts.
In Minnesota, almost 1.3 million Minnesotans rely on this health insurance company.
Medicare provides health coverage to people 65 and older. To qualify, you need to have certain disabilities, regardless of the income you have
Medicaid is both a state and federal program. It helps low-income families and individuals in the best way possible.
Laura Harker, a policy analyst, says to the public “Medicaid is really crucial in covering mental health and substance use treatments. In Minnesota, Medicaid has covered almost 600,000 children and for every 3 babies born, one is saved from this amazing program.”
Harker also said, “For children 0 to 18, Medicaid is really critical. It helps children get access to preventative screening that even private insurance doesn’t always over thsoe screening and treatments”
In every nursing home, five in nice residents would be covered by Medicaid.
Medicaid is a lifesaver to many people across not only Minnesota, but many other states.
