At yesterday’s Future Educators Club meeting, club members covered many agenda items. They worked on putting together activities and ideas for future events, including the Fun Fest, which will take place on April 12 from 9 to 1. The meeting lasted about 20 minutes, and then everyone was able to speak and pitch in their ideas for the future.
The Future Educators Club is a club at Sartell High School that focuses on students who want to pursue a career in education. If you are someone who enjoys working with kids, then the Future Educators Club is the place for you.
The club is run by Angela Heckman an art teacher here at SHS. Meetings are held at least twice a month in Heckman’s classroom during Sabre Time. Inside the club meetings, they focus on getting ideas together about things related to education, like meeting with college students, job shadowing a teacher, or even reading to elementary students.
To learn more about the SHS Future Educators Club you can find Heckman in her classroom M105.
