This was a 20 year old University of Pittsburg student who wanted to take a break away from her pre-med studies but happened to disappear on her spring break trip on March 6th, 2025 in Punta Cana.

Sudiksha Konanki was last seen on camera with seven others walking on the beach at the 5 star Riu República Hotel reported sometime around 4:15 am. Sudiksha had just arrived to the hotel on Monday with five friends and only a few days later the police received a call Friday at 8 in the morning saying she was missing.

She had told her friends she arrived on the trip with that she was going to attend a party at the resort with five girls and two guy she had met but later only the girls she met came back with just one of the guys at 5:55 am. Hours later at 9:55 am the last person with her was seen leaving the beach without her.

The authorities reported her as missing 4 pm that day. Officers and staff at the hotel in the Dominican Republic have searched the waters, near bay, bushes, trees, and used helicopters and other tools to hopefully find a trace of her multiple times with no luck.
