Are you a senior looking for a perfect college to call home? Or are you a junior who would like to get a head start on college decisions? Well, look no further! Today I will be telling you about the majors they offer, the night life, and the communities seen within the University of St. Thomas.
Founded in 1885 by John Ireland, the University of St. Thomas started off as an all-male Catholic school. In 1894, it became a liberal arts school for all genders and established many programs within the campus. Since then, the University of St. Thomas has been a popular college for Minnesotans looking for a new home away from home. The University of St. Thomas is now a prestigious university with an amazing community and and an extensive network of alumni within the Twin Cities.
St. Thomas offers a large array of majors and minors. They offer finance, an amazing nursing program, biological sciences, marketing, psychology, and so much more. If you have a specific major or minor in mind St. Thomas is bound to have it. Along with majors, St. Thomas offers lots of minors that include art history, business analytics, Catholic studies, criminal justice, and so much more.
As well as majors, St. Thomas offers a lot of on campus organizations and clubs. They have an option to attend Daily Mass, Association of Women in Science, Book Club, Business Law Society, American Culture and Difference, African Nations Student Association, and so much more. Any club you could think of is offered within the university.
Along with having a medal winning dance team, St. Thomas also offers a dance club for dancers on campus. This is the club I hear about most often because people enjoy it so much. It’s comparable to studio dance where you are able to make friends, dance, and be a part of something on campus.
St. Thomas University has an 82% acceptance rate and accepts anyone who has a GPA between 2.6 to 4.0!
