Daniel Masiá is a sophomore foreign exchange student attending Sartell High School this year. Daniel is from Southeast Spain. He has two brothers named Jorge, and Quique; his parents’ names are Jorge and Pilar.

Daniel turned 16 this fall, and got to celebrate with his host family. Daniel got the opportunity to stay with two families for this year. During the first semester Daniel stayed with the Steil family, and currently he is staying with the Burns family! Daniel played a fall sport and was on the Sartell Boys’ Soccer team.

Lilly  and Natalie along with a couple other people decided to take Daniel and another foreign exchange student Alban to a local food place with the most stereotypical American food we could think of. Val’s was the first thing that came to mind. Val’s is a iconic fast food place in Sauk Rapids that serves burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Daniel tried and reviewed a bacon triple cheeseburger with fries and a strawberry cheesecake milkshake.
