Frisbee golfers, hikers, sightseers, fishermen, photographers, or people just looking for something to do certainly have the potential to enjoy the Mississippi River County Park. For the first time in awhile, I visited the park with someone. I took several photos, and some are located in the gallery below.

I ended up doing some research on the park, and I learned a little bit more about the park.

According to Stearns County Parks, the hours are 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. The park has trails that can be used for activities such as walking, snowshoeing, and biking. The park has cross country ski trails. The park is approximately 230 acres with over an acre of land beside the Mississippi River. The park has parking areas and a picnic shelter. The shelter has benefits such as a grill. The shelter can even be reserved for special events. There is also activities that range from an 18 hole disc golf course, camping, a prairie restoration site, fishing, archery, and boating/canoeing. Some things that are off limits encompass no shooting weapons “within” or “across” the trail. To learn more about the guidelines one could could refer to the trail ordinances.
