Zach Bryan’s song “28” from his album The Great American Bar Scene was written strictly about his now ex girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia.
Zach and Brianna broke up October 21st, and it was shared on social media the day after. If you go on social media, I’m sure you’ve seen multiple posts about it but probably don’t really know the reason. These two had a very public breakup after dating for over a year.
Zach announced their breakup the very next day on his instagram story for hundreds of thousands to see. Brianna said she had no idea he was going to publicly post about their breakup that morning. He did not give an exact reason for the breakup but said he’s not perfect and he’s sorry to anyone he let down.
Brianna’s side of the story looks a little different. Throughout their relationship, she claimed Zach was emotionally abusive towards her. She told a story about one time when she was his date for an event and he did not approve of the dress she was wearing so he unfollowed her on social media.
Brianna went on her youtube page the next day and said she had just woken up to his post, and it was very unexpected. Although Zach’s fans stayed loyal and showed him support on his social media, Brianna’s followers started giving him backlash and commenting things about him. She was barely given any time to process the breakup herself before everyone else had to know about it.
Zach has a history of cheating on his ex wife, lying to her, and then mailing her divorce papers. There are not specific details or confirmed proof of cheating but multiple allegations. These allegations started when Zach was seen with another women, leading to people questioning his loyalty to his wife. With this past, when Brianna found a dating app on his phone named Raya she began to question.
It was said that when she confronted him about it the conversation it “did not go well.”
A seven month old Reddit post went viral. This post accuses Zach of giving a girl named Brooke an STD last summer while he was dating Brianna. She then posted text messages of the results and the timestamps proving when it was. There were also pictures showing that he texted her as recently as last September. Another commenter said he gave her friend an STD as well.
