With the weather getting chillier and the leaves changing colors, it’s time to start all of the fun fall activities again! Whether or not you enjoy spending time outside or keeping cozy inside; here is a list of some must do activities, to embrace fall!

1. A visit to the pumpkin patch: There are many pumpkin patches around Sartell and visiting the pumpkin patch is a great way to spend your afternoon. Some pumpkin patches near us include, “Triple S Pumpkins” and “Stoney Brook Farms.” After choosing your pumpkin you can spend the rest of your evening carving, painting, or decorating with friends!

2. Haunted houses: If your favorite part of fall is Halloween and spooky season then make sure to visit a haunted house! Right across the river, in Sauk Rapids, is “Molitor’s Haunted Acres.” Molitor’s is a popular spot for many high school students all across the area.

3. Hike around “The Chapel Trail” at St. John’s: If haunted houses aren’t your thing, try gathering your friends and family for a walk around Lake Sagatagan on St. John’s campus. The hike is pretty through all seasons, but when you’re surrounded by the colorful leaves, the hike is extra beautiful.

4. A movie or TV show marathon day: If you’re looking for a way to spend a day inside, then spend your day watching a bunch of movies or TV shows. I recommend watching “Gilmore Girls” because of the perfect fall vibes within it. You can make some caramel apples, pumpkin spice cookies, and sip some apple cider for the perfect lazy fall day.

Hopefully there is something on this list that sparks your interest, so that this fall there is never a dull day! Happy fall Sabres!
