The Featured Freshman of the week is Leah Morris. Leah is a freshman at the high school this year and is involved in many activities. She is looking forward to this school year and becoming involved at the high school. So without further ado, meet Leah!

What is the best part of high school so far?-
Late starts on Wednesday because I get to sleep in (on days I dont have morning lifting for swim) and I have more time to get ready for school.
What activities are you involved in?-
Swimming, that’s all!
Do you plan on joining any clubs or other activities?-
I don’t know exactly what clubs I want to join, but eventually I want to be in NHS.
What classes are you excited to take?-
Yearbook because it seems fun and you get to go to different schools to take photos and also I really want to take a lot of foods classes.
Who is your favorite teacher so far?-
Saue and Simmons because they are energetic and helpful.
Who is your favorite upperclassman?-
Aki Rebeck, because we spend a lot of time together at swim practice, she’s a good role model, and always makes swim practice fun.
What part of high school are you most excited about?-
I’m excited for more football games because the student section is fun.
