Maestro Ciccia
April 9, 2019
Maestro Ciccia was the next place we ended up eating at. The food there was miles better than the last spot. It had a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt really cozy. The first dish at our table was a plate of lamb chops with potatoes.
The lamb was cooked perfectly, not overdone, not underdone. The potatoes had a great seasoning that added a salty flavor. The only complaint was that the lamb had a somewhat gamey taste to it.
The next dish was deep fried squid and prawn. The squid had a crusty breading on the outside and the meat was chewy. The prawn tasted slightly fishy and needed a sauce with it.
The last dish at Maestro was oxtail, which was cooked to fall off the bone. The gravy was perfect. The potatoes that came with it were crispy on the outside and had a soft consistency on the inside.
