Meet SHS Senior Drake Lalim who is currently employed by Howie’s Bar and Grill in St. Stephen, Minnesota. Read on to get an inside look at Drake’s employment at Howie’s Bar and Grill.

Drake is a cook but also helps with other jobs that need to be done around the kitchen. Drake has been employed by Howie’s since he was 14 years old, and this is Drake’s first job.

Drake said that his favorite part about working at Howie’s is being able to make his own variations of food and then being able to eat it. One of Drake’s favorite foods that he has created was a deep-fried pickle chip. Drake also likes that he gets free food while working and also likes most of his coworkers.

There is only one thing that Drake said he disliked about working for Howie’s and that is having to clean chickens.

While asking Drake if he ever had any embarrassing moments while working at Howies he told us how he once microwaved a spoon with his food. After getting called out for his mistake he began to start hearing jokes at school because one of his coworkers told people at school.
