The message from Simba’s father, Mufasa, is to always remember who you are. Sometimes in life we get lost in the noise and in the chaos. It’s hard not to because there is always so much going on. It’s easy to forget who you are and what you stand for. It’s easy to stray from your beliefs and your morals due to the immense pressures from society and from your peers. When mistakes arise, always be kind to yourself and know that you will slip up from time to time. Remember who you are because at the end of the day it’s just you and yourself, and you don’t want to be trapped with somebody that you don’t like. Always remember who you are because you will never be good enough for this world, but you will always be good enough for yourself.
