Megan Moroney is a trending country singer-songwriter from Georgia. Her music career really took off with “Tennessee Orange,” which gained popularity on Tiktok. She’s known for her storytelling in her songs, often drawing from personal experiences. At the start of the year, Megan began her tour across North America on March 20, 2025 taking place in Montreal, Canada. She then soon reached Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 15, 2025. Megan Moroney performed at the Armory, selling out all the tickets to the show. Nearly 10,000 people attended singing every lyric and even Megan said “You guys might even be the loudest city on tour.”

Country singer Charlie Worsham, opened up for Megan. I personally didn’t know any of his songs, but I enjoyed listening to him perform. Charlie was very interactive with the crowd which made me enjoy his set. Charlie Worsham is most known for his song “How I learned To Pray” featuring Luke Combs.
The first song that Megan Moroney performed was “Man on the Moon,” and it is about this guy who’s love she cannot attain because he’s far away. It also demonstrates her perspective on him and how she is receiving mixed signals. The lyrics convey a sense of yearning for someone who seems impossibly far away, both emotionally and physically. This is the kind of storytelling that she is known for. Megan surprisingly went off of her album and sang some of her top hits such as “Hair Salon,” “Girl in the Mirror,” “I’m Not Pretty,” “Sleep on My Side.”

I loved every song played on Megan’s setlist. She performed a mixture of happy songs mixed with her sad songs. My favorite song she performed was “Hope You’re Happy,” and it is about a guy that she is still in love with but he has moved on to another girl. In the song she wished the best on his success and the journey with the new girl. Another song I was surprised that I enjoyed was “Am I Okay?” I was shocked with how the crowd was so energetic and I loved how Megan kind of changed the song up, adding jokes to her performance. In this song, confetti is blown all over the building, making it a beautiful scene.
For Megan’s special song that she had fans vote on was “Wonder.” I was genuinely so shocked when she played this song because it is Nevaeh and I’s favorite song. We both started screaming and we talked about how hearing this song live connected our friendship even more. In every car ride we always turn this song on because we both have felt the same feelings that are displayed in the song.
Going to the Megan Moroney concert with my best friend was seriously the best choice ever! From belting out “Tennessee Orange” at the top of our lungs while also bawling our eyes out to “Girl in the Mirror” helped us create the best memories. We’ve been huge fas of hers, and experiencing her music live together made it even more special. Plus, getting to share the memories with someone who knows me so well made the whole night unforgettable.
