Ty Myers is a seventeen year old singer and songwriter from Austin, Texas. He plays the guitar, and gets lots of inspiration from his experience of living on a ranch. At age twelve, Myers first started playing electric guitar, and decided to pursue his love for music. His grandmother’s love for the piano, and his father’s local venue performances were major influences in his music career. Myers chose to be homeschooled so that he could continue to pursue his music career.

In 2023, he posted the song “Tie That Binds” and it got really popular over social media. The popularity of this song resulted in many labels reaching out to him. Within this same time, he teamed up with record labels, claiming his spot to pursue his dream.
