Powder Ridge is a ski hill located in Kimball, Minnesota that has been operating since 1954. Jerry Wahlin and Layne Anderson are the current owners and have been since 2004. Powder Ridge is the perfect local family friendly ski hill, offering downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. Powder Ridge is inclusive to all skill levels, with a balance of beginner, intermediate, and advanced terrain.
Ski runs are split into three different levels, a green circle means the run is easy and beginner friendly. A blue square means the run is a intermediate level for skiers and snowboarders who feel more confident and have mastered the basic skills to go down steeper runs. A black diamond means the run is more advanced and has a steeper slope and more challenging terrain. Double black diamonds are a thing but Powder Ridge doesn’t have any runs that are Double black diamonds.
