Everyone’s body is different and functions in different ways. There are many ways to encourage positive body habits such as what you put in your body.

One popular routine right now is putting lemons or lemon juice in your water. Here are some of the many benefits that lemon water can have on someone: It’s a great way of hydrating but it includes more benefits such as vitamin C.

Vitamin C is so important because it helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals. Just one slice of a lemon in a cup of water can help support skin and health, may help aid digestion,  helps bloating, and may help kidney stones. Regular consumption of lemon water may help strengthen bones, promote oral health, and prevent anemia and kidney stones due to its citrate content.

Lemon juice contains various antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that boost brain and heart health.

Lemon water is the juice of the lemon fruit combined with water and may be sipped hot or cold, and you can add additions such as lemon zest, honey, mint or spices like turmeric or cayenne pepper for a sweeter taste and healthier drink.

With just one small addition to your water, it can lead to one small step towards feeling and looking healthier.
