Anthony Reese Jr. Faces a maximum penalty for each count of murder.

Anthony Reese Jr, a Minnesota man has been arrested and sentenced to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to three counts of murder, the death of two co-workers, and their unborn child at a North Dakota factory.

Reese, of Moorhead, admitted to killing 43-year-old Richard Pittman and 32-year-old April Carbone, along with their unborn child which April was carrying. Carbone was pronounced dead at the factory and Pittman was declared dead at the hospital after receiving treatment.

Reese, Pittman, and another co-worker got into a verbal altercation, and Reese was told to go home. He left and returned with a handgun later and shot Pittman four times and Carbone (Pittman’s pregnant wife) twice in the stomach, also killing their unborn child.

Reese’s attorney said he showed remorse, and he would try to better himself in prison. He did not speak in court when given the chance to do so.

All he intended to do was help you. If you ever need to talk to somebody, the devil’s waiting. You took three lives because you were having a bad day.
