Abby Lee Miller sold her famous original dance studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the reason of unpaid taxes.

Abby Miller, the 57-year-old dance coach previously exited the hit show Dance Moms during its seventh season due to on-going legal issues that resulted in her serving an eight-month jail time. On-going sources state that Miller was battling with financial issues.

It was time. I loved every moment in that studio — even some of the rough ones, yes, or the heartbreaking ones,

“Before the show, we’d be [at the studio] on a Saturday afternoon and sheriffs would come and post notices saying they were going to shut the studio down for unpaid taxes, they would be pinning notes. “

Although Miller was battling her financial problems, it was a bittersweet moment for her.

They were important to me, to my history, and the laughter and the fun and all the victories … but all good things come to an end.

Even though Miller’s original Dance Moms studio is no longer in her position, it will always be a part of her.

“I sold my property. I didn’t sell my name. I didn’t sell my brand. I didn’t sell my life’s work. I sold brick, mortar, cinder blocks, and an amazing dance floor that is still in mint condition. The best floors that I ever stood on,” she said in her recent Instagram  post.
