Weinstein was already serving 23 years for multiple counts of rape and sexual assault and will be facing another 24 years in a cell. There have been four victims under the name Jane Doe to protect their identity who decided to take action against the disgraced film producer. In the first trial against Weinstein, he had pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

The crimes against these women happened in a time span from 2005-2013. The Jury spent nine days making their final decision on Weinstein.

Before both trials had happened all the incidents were reported, but they were brushed off. Weinstein was originally faced with 11 charges although seven of them were dropped due to lack of evidence and only four victims testified.
