Haskins, 24 on his old team the now Washington football team.
Steelers quarterback, Dwayne Haskins, died early Saturday morning.
He was hit by a dump truck near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was killed at the young age of 24, and would’ve turned 25 on May, 3rd.
Haskins was trying to cross a bridge by foot and was struck by truck according to Florida Highway patrol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
This news comes a month after he re-signed a contract with the Steelers, in hopes of becoming the starter for the 2022-2023 NFL season.
