Florida girl stabbed to death
Tryisten Bailey was allegedly brutally murdered by a 14 year old classmate.
A thirteen-year-old girl, Tristyn Bailey, was found dead on Sunday. Her Florida family reported her missing just a few hours before she was found in a wooded area. The sheriff’s onboard described this murder as a “cold-blooded murder.”
Investigators were able to identify the body around 6 p.m. in a tight-knit community of Durbin Crossing, St. John’s County Sheriff Hardwick said at a press conference on Monday morning. Her family had reported her missing around 10 in the morning that Sunday.
The suspect who was clear to have relations with the murder was a fourteen-year-old boy. Police say that they will not release his name to the public due to him being a minor. Both Bailey and the suspect had grown up in the same neighborhood and even had attended the same school. St. John’s Country Sheriff Rob Hardwick alleges the suspect killed Bailey with intent.
I worked homicide for almost 12 years. This is nothing even nearly remote to being an accident. This is a heinous crime. It’s a stabbing death of a 13-year-old girl by a 14-year-old boy. So, we’ve got a lot of work to do. ”
