Humans of Sartell – Week One
“My life changed when I realized that it’s not about what you wear, it’s more about your personality.”
“Fifth grade. We were playing tag on the playground and I was really really short, and the rails on the playground were like neck-level for me. I got hit from behind by this jerk, and I got the wind knocked out of me, and no one even stopped to help me. Then this one guy who I had always thought was super intimidating stopped to help me up, and now he’s one of my best friends. It was the first time I ever noticed someone go out of their way to care about me. Yeah.”
“I set six alarms to get out of bed in the morning.”
“The other day we were talking about how one of my teammates used to pee her pants all of the time in eighth and ninth grade from laughing too hard. My coaches thought it was really funny and we were all crying from laughing at practice.”
“The hardest part of high school is finding out who you are and who you want to be.”
“I like when people do really stupid things that are not funny to normal people, but they are really funny to me.”
“I’m good at always being late to things.”
