A new fast-food restaurant, Popeyes, joined the Saint Cloud area on January 1, 2021.  It is located on Division street.

Popeyes is known for its Louisiana Chicken but has so many more goods. Popeye’s menu also includes their chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, seafood, biscuits, mashed potatoes, fries, red beans and rice, cajun rice, green beans, beverages, and desserts.

Since it is a new restaurant the line is usually wrapped around the block and is a very long wait.

I went there on January 2, 2021, and had to wait about 45 minutes. I got their chicken tenders and mashed potatoes with water.

I thought that the chicken tenders were pretty good they were well cooked, large, and hot. I would give them a solid 8/10. The mashed potatoes however surprised me and were a little bit spicy.  Turns out they put cajun in their gravy to give it the Louisiana spice. I personally don’t like spice so I would rate these potatoes a 2/10.
