On December 15th governor Tim Walz made the decision to keep restaurants and bars shut down through the holidays, meaning local restaurants need help more than ever. With lockdown restrictions, restaurants are limited to takeout and delivery only. Here are some local restaurants around Sartell to support during these unprecedented times.
Great River Bowl & Partners Pub
This local restaurant has been running since 1978 and with owners Lyle and Barb Mathiasen since 1984. The restaurant is located at 208 2nd St S, Sartell, MN 56377. Partners Pub has also been giving back this holiday season, providing meals for healthcare workers and Meals on Wheels. Currently, they are selling a New Year’s Eve Party Platter, as well as the regular deals and menu items.
The Upper Deck has been around Sartell for over three decades. Amanda and Andy Scott are the owners of the restaurant, taking over back in 2016. The bar and grill is located at 601 13th Ave N, Sartell, MN 56377. They deliver around Sartell Thursday through Saturday and have takeout available Tuesday through Sunday.
Añejos is an authentic Mexican restaurant that opened in 2014. It’s Sartell location is at 1733 Pine Cone Rd, Sartell, MN 56377, along with another location in Waite Park. Ramon Navarro owns the restaurant and his wife and children all help make the place run. During these times Añejos recommends buying gift cards, ordering takeout or delivery, calling in orders, and paying with credit/debit cards when possible to help the business continue its success.
House of Pizza has been serving since 1964 with its first restaurant located in downtown St. Cloud. It has three locations, two in St. Cloud and one in Sartell. The restaurant in Sartell is located at 1733 Pine Cone Rd S, Sartell, MN 56377. Bob Testa is the founder of the restaurant but it is now owned by his son Brandon Testa. The authentic Italian menu is now available through curbside takeout and delivery.
Blue Line Sports Bar and Grill
Blue Line is owned and operated by Scott & Esther Widor since 2004. There are two locations one located in St. Cloud and the other in Sartell. The Sartell location is at 1101 2nd St S 108 Sartell, MN 56377. Blue Line is known for its delicious and affordable American food which can currently be ordered online for pick up and delivery.
