Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has sworn revenge

After a top nuclear scientist was assassinated earlier this month by an unknown person of unknown ethnicity, the Supreme Leader of Iran has vowed to get revenge.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who had quickly become the leading scientist of Iran’s fairly controversial nuclear program, was found dead in Iran earlier this month by apparent assassination. An obvious blow to the advancement of the nuclear program, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of Iran, has stated his intention for retribution

During a cabinet meeting that was called for and held on Saturday, Khamenei directed the blame for the assassination toward Israel, and apparently intends to take action. Despite these hefty claims, Iran has produced no legitimate evidence of Israel’s involvement in the murder as of yet.

As the following weeks unfold, more is expected to be known as to what exactly the Iranian government plans to do, and who they intend to blame in the end.
