AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will be partially filled with fans on Thanksgiving day.

In a year that has been full of pure insanity, uncertainty, and frustration, it’s nice to know that we can still sit down on the couch with a big plate of turkey and watch some football.

The NFL has three Thanksgiving games on the schedule this year. The first game will be played between the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans (start time is at 12:30 CT). Game two on that day will be played between the Washington Football Team and the Dallas Cowboys (start time at 3:30 CT). And to top off the night, the Baltimore Ravens will play the Pittsburgh Steelers (7:20 CT). You can click here to find out where you can watch the game or live stream it.

The contest between the 4-6 Lions and 3-7 Texans in Detroit consists of two teams that are no longer in the playoff hunt. These two teams share a past on this Thanksgiving day, in fact the first time Houston ever played on Thanksgiving was against Detroit. In overtime that game was decided, and the Texans came out on top with a score of 34-31. The Lions are looking to snap their three game losing streak on Thanksgiving.

Game two on Thanksgiving between Washington and Dallas is the ninth time these two teams will meet on turkey day in Dallas. The Cowboys are 8-1 all-time versus Washington on Thanksgiving. Despite both teams having a 3-7 record, they are both in the playoff hunt. The winner of the game on Thursday will take over first place in the NFC East.

The last game of the night in Pittsburgh boasts a heated rivalry between the Steelers and Ravens. Pittsburgh is currently undefeated with a 10-0 record, and Baltimore holds a record of 6-4, but have dropped their past two games. These two teams already met this year in week eight of the regular season, and the Steelers won that game with a score of 28-24.

I have good news for college football fans too. There are two games on the docket for college ball, the first contest is between Colorado State and the United States Air Force Academy (start time at 2:00 CT). The second and final collegiate game of the night is being played between New Mexico and Utah State (start time 7:00 CT). Click here to find out where you can watch these games or live stream them.

Game one between Colorado State and Air Force has the Ram-Falcon trophy up for grabs. Air Force has defeated Colorado State the past four times, and leads the both trophy series (25-15) and the overall series (36-21-1). Air Force at the moment has a 2-2 record, and Colorado State sports a 1-2 record. This game at Falcon Stadium is crucial if both teams wish to make a bowl appearance this season.

New Mexico against Utah State will be a showdown of two teams holding an 0-4 record. Both teams have new head coaches at the helm this year, but they are no strangers to this rivalry. The all time series between these two teams is 13-13, so tune in to see who captures the head-to-head lead and who clinches their first win of the season.
