This season of The Bachelorette features the new bachelorette Tayshia Adams.

Episode four and five of The Bachelorette on ABC were aired. This article will contain spoilers just so you know and if you missed last week’s recap, it is here

Both week four and five are being combined into one article because of the less drama filled week four episode.

The fourth episode of this season was anticlimactic, because of all the teasers throughout the season. This episode started with Clare Crawley telling Chris Harrison about how she has found love with Dale. Crawley then goes on a one-on-one date with Dale, during this date Crawley confessed her feelings toward Dale; unsurprisingly Dale was having the same feelings about Crawley. The episode ended with Crawley and Dale getting engaged.

The remaining men had the option to leave or try again for true love with the next bachelorette, Tayshia Adams.

The arrival of Adams kicked off the fifth episode of The Bachelorette.

This episode was everything but uneventful. It started with the 16 men that decided to stay getting a chance to talk to Adams and try to get the first impression rose.

While Brandon finally got his first chance to talk with Adams, Chris Harrison came to grab Adams. What happened next was built up as something that would change the course of the rest of the season, in some ways that was true.

To Adams’ surprise, she got to meet four more men that also have the opportunity to become her husband. The new cast is here if you want to see the mix of old and new casting.

This upset the other men already in the running. The first impression rose is given to newcomer Spencer. Since Adams felt she didn’t get enough time with each of the men, she canceled the first Rose Ceremony.

We then got to see how Clare and Dale are doing as a newly engaged couple; this was pretty uneventful, they just talked about how they love each other and are planning their wedding.

Now back to Adams, there is the first group date. This group date is in the pool, the men were given either blue or green speedos to play against each other in pool basketball. The men get very competitive, Riley ends up accidentally elbowing Spencer causing a bloodied lip. The blue team won and got to have lunch with Adams, everyone was invited to the after-party later that night. After many good conversations, the group date rose was given to Eazy. Back at the hotel, Jason decides that it isn’t fair to him or Adams to stay because of how he was feeling about Crawley still. Adams takes the rejection gracefully and then later expresses her fear of being second best for a lot of the men. The next date is one-on-one with Brandon. The date starts with them riding on horseback around the hotel, with Chris interrupting for no reason at all. They go swimming before

getting ready for dinner. They have a really good conversation about their pasts, shockingly they have both previously been married. After he is given a rose, they kiss underneath some fireworks.

This past couple of weeks have been a rollercoaster, and I personally can’t wait for the rest of the season.
